I have two sets of theater seats...
The first set is two seats (two flip-up/down seat cushions, two seat backs and three cast iron divider/arm rest pieces.) Color on this one is a rust brown. This set is old - probably antique. The seat cushions are a tweed-like material and in good shape. The seat backs are velvet and are separating from the wooden back piece at the very top (behind where your neck would be.) They could be used as is but you'll probably want to have them repaired or reupholstered. The arm rests are wooden and have been scratched up (like, with a pocket knife). These are pretty comfortable and were a popular seating choice over the 10+ years I had them in my living room. Asking price is $120.
The second set is 4 seats (4 flip-up/down seat cushions, 4 seat backs and 5 cast iron divider/arm rest pieces.) Color on these is lime green (upholstery)/kelly green. This set can be configured as a row of four or as two free-standing seats. The seat cushions are a tweed-like material and in good shape. The seat backs are velvet and also in good shape. The armrests are covered in a tweed-like material which is worn and threadbare (but not cut or ripped). This set is circa 1960-something and is very comfortable with just the right amount of recline. Asking price is $150.
Both of these sets need to be mounted to some sort of a base (I used to use a piece of carpeted plywood) or a wooden frame or rails. Otherwise, they would just tip over.
I suggest local (San Diego) pickup as they are quite bulky and heavy. I'll ship them if someone really wants them, but you pay for the box, packaging and ground charges. (This won't be cheap.)
If anyone is interested but needs to see pics, LMK and I can post some.
