Hi Everyone


New Guy here needing help.


I have a TX-S3082WH, had it for 2yrs now, well i turned it off and it never came back on.


My question is "is it worth fixing?"


I read all the other threads and i'm really confused

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

As you don't know what it will cost to fix, that's a sucker's question.


Its a CRT (And not a very good one), so for $600 you could probably find a better TV. It will certainly cost you anywhere from $300+ to repair, so its a decision only you can make.


You might check your local Craigslist to see if a Sony KD-34XBR960 is for sale locally as they have gone for $300-$450 if you really MUST have a CRT.

You can get a 32" 720p LCD for around $400 to $500 these days so I would just get a LCD. CRT's are big, heavy, old and crappy. LCD's are the future. Just don't get a Plasma unless you want a higher electric bill and have to worry about burn in issues and limited life span.
