So I have the tv :) I run an hdmi from my tv to my pc but just don't feel it is the top notch quality I should be getting. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? I am about 12ft cabel because I can't move the pc closer. So clueless to this new techno stuff :p

What's your PC's graphics card?

What resolution are you using from the PC?

You may not be getting 2160p (3840 X 2160) if your graphics card doesn't support HDCP 2.2/HDMI 2.0.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 , res I will double check tonight

The problem may be the resolution of the file that you transfer from the PC to the TV. Check it out too.

The GTX 960 is spec'd with HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2, so 2160p at 60 Hz should be available.

Not sure what your issue might be.
what about media players, I use media classic. Is there anything that is better?
Maybe I just have to learn to configure all the settings proper somehow. Tv just doesnt look as amazing as the display images (in stores) lool
what happens if I use the other res options just above the recommended one?4096

It will have to scale it to fit the real pixels. Scaling from 4096 to 3840 is NOT going to be a pretty result. It will be quite blurry I suspect. Sure for photos and video it likely won't be that noticeable, but text would be unimpressed.
