Hi I bought a Olevia 337h LCD TV, so far I have been extremely happy with it except for one tiny problem. Everytime I watch a dvd movie or watch television, whenever there is a flash of light being shown, the light is not the usual bright white, instead it flashes a blueish color. An example would be a scene of a photographer taking a picture of a star with flash on, the flash comes out with a blueish tint. Even some scenes without sudden flashes, but with solid sustained white light turn out blue sometimes.


I don't know if there is something wrong with my screen or maybe my settings on it are incorrect, or maybe this happens with all lcd screens, any explanation would be great.

What do you have your color temp set at? If you're using 9300k or Native then your whites may look slightly blueish. Using the 6500k temp should take the blue tint away from the whites.

My color temperature has always been set at 6500.

I'm not seeing this problem. What are your sources and how are they connected to the tv?

For tv signals, its trough a set top box to my PC via S-video, my PC was connected through dvi/hdmi cable before, now i use xbox 360 extender so it is connected vga but receives wireless tv signal from PC. When I watch dvd with my xbox 360 connected through vga it does it too. Also if it helps, many water scenes are noticeable when light glows off the water, the shine is blue.
