I am about to purchase this tv, but have read many comments saying that the minimum volume is too loud. Does anyone have experience with this? Any recommendations for a fix? I plan on having this lcd in my master bedroom and like to fall asleep with tv on.

Since you're looking at the 337, you'll have a cable box or dish. I have TWC (soon to be comcast) and my box has a volume on it. If the 337 is too loud, turn down the sound on the cable box

I will be connecting the HR20-700 D* sat receiver. It does not have independent volume control. I wonder what the people complaining had connected.
