Olevia announces Sharp LCD Panel purchase

Here is a link to a press release regarding the 65" panel used by Olevia. I see they announced a 120hz model at CES but no availability or pricing info yet.

I am hopeful that this new series will not weigh 250 plus pounds as does the 265TFHD. Any additional news would be welcomed.


Question: Have the Olevias suffered the same banding as Sharps? Does the Realta processor solve "glass" issues related to banding? Not very learned on this subject, truly seeking more info before making a purchase.


Also, debating between Olevia 65" series and Sony XBR4 52". Costs are comparable. Haven't yet been able to compare PQ.
