I was looking at Mirage's website and found a section on the Omnisat's that recommend placing them 2 feet from the back wall and 3 feet from the side wall. It states a minimum of 1 foot is needed for placement from the back wall. This information is corroborated by a few magazine reviews that state sound suffers dramatically if they aren't given room to breathe.
At the same time, the Ominisat's are specifically designed to be wall or ceiling mounted. In fact, in most of their ad's, they show them wall mounted next to plasma screens. The speaker placement guidelines seem to contradict the design and advertising of the Omnisat.
Has anyone wall mounted the Omnisat's? Has sound suffered dramatically? Am I wasting my money by buying them for wall mounting?
