After many many hours of reading the forum and internet, I'm leaning toward on wall speakers that fit better with my wall mounted TV. Needless to say, My budget has been bumped up quite a bit now. I'm trying to decide between:

EMP Tek EW series (25, 30, or 35)

Boston P442,

HTD flat panel

I'm wondering if anyone owns them or has experience with them? It looks like they're all good for LCR. What should I use for surround and sub? I'm setting up a 5.1 system in my family room which is 13x18x9. I just bought a new Yamaha RX-V575 on sale. I think I can tolerate $1000-$1200 for speakers. Thanks.

Remember there's in-wall speakers too.

You don't need to match surrounds to LCR unless you're doing concert blu-rays.

There's not really matching sub to speakers, unless you're trying to match aesthetics. People just buy as much as they can. It's almost impossible to have enough sub. It's like "too much towing capacity" or "too much fuel efficiency". 99.9% of the subwoofers physically can not play the LFE track as it was intended.

EDIT: I'd go with the Boston, as they're highly regarded and are 4x as sensitive as the EmpTek.

I would add Axiom and Kef to the list in this price range.
