I have a 4508, this happens every so often, and It hasn't updated the guide info since Friday. When this happened before I had gone so far as to erase the guide data twice (as suggested), change the modem speed, change my phone number, and zip code. None of these things worked, all that worked was time. I have had 2 TiVos in the past, one with a bad hard drive and the replacement died in a sudden thunderstorm without a blackout, lights didn't even flicker, and all my other equipment was just fine. The TiVo died and that was it and I decided then that they are way too fragile, but they always updated the guide data flawlessly and never gave me a problem in that regard. So, when I switched to RTV and this problem updating the guide data began I was let down, thinking no matter what, there is always a downside, always something one can be unhappy about as I watched my guide data dwindle and changes in the guide data not corrected. Like like last night, Miracles was replaced with a rerun of the Practice, I never knew, I never got the update. At this point in time there is another fly in the ointment, the auctioning off of the company and all of us uncertain with the future of RTV. My only hope is that my unit begins to update soon, and I do really hate this happening on a monthly basis. Well enough of my rant.
