Hi,

I am looking to a purchase a Samsung 2019 "The Frame" TV. the house is currently under construction so I have chance to get a conduit placed into the wall to run the one connect cable to the TV mounted on the wall. What is the minimum size conduit required to fit the connectors through?

I found this documentation that shows the plug sizes:

MOLDING PLUG SIZE (W x H x D): [TV] 1.89 x 3.34 x 0.44 ; [OC] 1.15 x 2.84 x 0.54:

MOLDING PLUG SIZE (W x H x D): [TV] 1.77 x 3.34 x 0.38 ; [OC] 0.99 x 2.76 x 0.54

Can anyone with installation experience recommend a wall conduit diameter that will work easily?

Also, at the bottom of each document it states for the 15m cable: "*This optional longer length cable is not designed to meet in-wall installation codes"

Does in-wall mean the same as "in conduit"?

Thanks!

No experience in building codes/installation, but I'd go 2 inch diameter minimum to be safe(be sure your plug ends fit through). As for the conduit, plastic if code allows. Bare in mind it's never a good idea to run power/video lines next to audio lines(arc).

Best
