I was just thinking ... can't you do like one HTPC for multiple TVs ?


what you really need in HTPC: n Tuner cards, n video outputs, n IR recievers ... I never worked with multiple monitors, but I guess it's possible for them to work independently ...


what you need by TVs : a firewire DVD drive, IR reciever ...


Cables from TV to htpc: firewire cable, video cable, IR cable ...



What everybody thinks of it ?



It should be a fun project ( if I had any money for it )

People have enough trouble doing two video outputs. The state of drivers and operating system right now make this fairly impossible.
