Yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of my Mits 65809. Ah - what a glorious day that was! :)

Now go figure - the other night I noticed that there's a single, lone pixel on my set that's unlit. Not just dim - but literally unlit. Of course, I can't see it from any kind of a distance, but up close it's very easy to see. It's about 1/3rd of the screen from the right, and about 1/3rd from the bottom.

Does anyone have any ideas of what might be the situation with this?

I haven't specifically checked to see if it's the same on all inputs, but I'm 95% sure that it is. I KNOW I saw it when cable was on, and I'm pretty sure the first time I noticed it we were watching a DVD.

Has anyone else seen this? It doesn't seem possible to me - the light hits the screen, and it should show - or no? Could this be an issue further into the set than the screen?

Since this set doesn't have pixels...sounds like something wrong on your screen. Take it off and examine it...might be as simple as cleaning it.
