Is this a complicated fix? The other HDMI inputs work fine.

I do have one of the Pioneers that does not buzz so do not want any repair that would actually replace a circuit board that would give me the dreaded buzz (I previously had a 5080 that buzzed and yes it sucks).

I am just out of factory warranty by two weeks, but did buy a CPS warranty.

the plasmas are quite modular and this may be a simple board swap. also, what i have read on this forum is that the buzz most ly comes form the power supply baord/module which is a separate module so yous should stay buzz-free

Will call CPS tomorrow.

My guess is the same guys that are the designated Pioneer service repair shop will be sent out. They were clueless when they came to look at the buzzing 5080 I had.

I hope they know what they are doing.
