Like the title says, i am looking for ONE loudspeaker for bedroom use. I already have a subwoofer (SVS), but im looking for a horn type loudspeaker that has a very small footprint that i can mount on the wall. I also need it to be a powered/active with a very wide dispersion since i can only have one. DOnt ask me why just "one" speaker. Quality is not important.

I know about club loudspeakers, but i cant find anything small enough.

I have been searching high and low but i cannot for the life of me find anything.

Haven't seen anything that meets your exact desires but how about one of the many sound bars. Hard to know what you consider lound but there should be several that will generate 105dB plus.

You could look at the Mackie line of speakers. I know they make powered speakers that can get plenty loud. Finding a single speaker of any brand may be difficult though.

You can check EBAY, I see single speakers selling on there all the time. As far as type which is powered and has sound dispersion I dont know.

If you are refering to their studio monitors (their larger series speakers are huge like Peavey et al) they are designed for nearfield studio work and likely will not give the dispersion he is looking for, however they will indeed play quite loud.

This actually is the perfect candidate for DIY.

A single speaker to consider is the Polk Atrium 65sdi.

It can be configured to allow a stereo connection to a single speaker. This might be what you are looking for however you would need to add a stereo amp which is not a big deal. This one should work fine.

Here is another one that is powered and has a wireless subwoofer to consider too.

Check these out.
