Sorry for the simple question but does the Onkyo 609 have pre outs for front speakers?
I've had a look on the net and I'm guessing it doesn't. However I'm a real audio novice so not really sure what I should be looking for

Sorry, no. Main zone pre-outs start on the 709 and higher models.

With the whole immersive atmos/dtsx scene looming and no pre outs with my current A/V amp it looks like I'll be upgrading in the near future
