I just got my 636 set up.
It really sounds good.
I'm sure this is a stupid question but maybe someone can help
I went through the setup and I have 7 speakers and a sub (all Polk Audio)
Problem is, volume up to about 39/40 is very soft. Barely audible at about 20.
Then increases quickly up to very loud after that.

Is there a way to adjust this so the volume is more uniform. Seems like it's either too loud or not loud enough... never in the sweet spot.
Thanks

Hmm, I start at 0, and go up and it seems to get progressively louder as I think it should. At 20, I can hear it, it isn't loud, but I can hear it clearly. As I get to 40 it sounds to be at normal volume, 50 is slightly loud. 60 is pretty loud. I don't know what to tell you, it seems normal to me from 0 to 77(Max). But then again, how my 636 is acting or how I hear the volume could be totally different.

Make sure you don't have Dynamic Volume turned on.

Well, if you haven't looked at the manual, doing so would be a good thing. :)

Dynamic Volume should be under Audio>Audyssey.

636 doesn't use Audyssey, it uses AccuEQ

My 636 just started to do the same thing. It used to be fine around 24 (what I had the volume set to for start up). It was a great starting point. Now I have to get to around 36 before its a comfortable listening volume. I used to not be able to push past 54. Now I can get it up to around 63 no problem.

I don't know what the issue is. I've noticed a couple other people bringing this issue up with their 636.

Let me know if you find any solutions.
