Can someone please tell me where to buy a soundboard for my Onkyo HT RC 180 receiver?

 

It's gone out for the SECOND time and it's only 3 years old.

 

It got fixed under the warranty the first time but now it's out of warranty.

 

I might as well try and fix it myself. My local guy wants $300 to repair it and that is more than it's worth.

Honestly, I would just buy a new receiver.


My geuss is the board is probably a couple hundred, so why not spend a few bucks more and get a new receiver?

You know I agree with you I already went to Best Buy today and bought a Denon I was just thinking about repairing my Onkyo and giving it away to someone.

 

If anybody wants it please let me know.

Why not email Onkyo & see if they'll do a one time out of warranty repair & keep it as a backup; that's what I did.
