Hi. I am looking to upgrade my little $40 speaker set to something better. These are mostly for movies/games on my 100" projector, and will be in my dorm room or medium sized room while at home.
I am debating between the S3300 and the S5300. The 3300s are basically the limit of my price range (~ $300), and seem like a good set. However, there are a few used (very good condition) 5300s on amazon for $366. Are these speakers good enough of an upgrade over the 3300s to overlook the extra price and lack of warranty? I want the best bang for the buck, but I also want to have a little buck left over for a few luxury items like food and clothing

Oh, and it will be hooked up to my computer, not any consoles or designated media players.
