I just ordered a onkyo 6300. I've heard it in store and I liked the sound, but I want a better 2.0 for music. I have the chance to get 2 klipsch F2 floor standing speakers for about 300 total. My question is can I hook the F2's to the 6300's receiver? also is it a good idea?

6300 receiver specs

Power Output -

Front L/R 130 W/Channel (6 ohms, 1 kHz)

Center 130 W (6 ohms, 1 kHz)

Surround L/R 130 W/Channel (6 ohms, 1 kHz)

Surround Back L/R 130 W/Channel (6 ohms, 1 kHz)

Dynamic Power 180 W (3 ohms)

160 W (4 ohms)

100 W (8 ohms)

THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) 0.08% (1W)

Damping Factor 60 (Front, 1 kHz, 8 ohms)

Input Sensitivity and Impedance 200 mV/47 k-ohms (Line)

Output Level and Impedance 200 mV/2.2 k- ohms (Rec out)

Frequency Response 5 Hz-100 kHz/ +1 dB, -3 dB (Direct mode)

Tone Control ±10 dB, 50 Hz (Bass)

±10 dB, 20 kHz (Treble)

Signal-to-Noise Ratio 106 dB (Line, IHF-A)

Speaker Impedance 6 ohms-16 ohms

Klipsch specs

Frequency response: 39Hz - 23kHz +/-3dB

Power handling: 100 w (400 w peak)

Sensitivity: 95.5dB @ 2.83 volts/1 meter

Nominal impedance: 8 ohms

Crossover frequency: 2100Hz

I don't know how this works exactly, but do the wattage and whatnot work out?
