Onkyo/integra models coming out soon.

So looking at the list of updated models seems like the $1100-2500 range has been left out for onkyo. Integra is nice gear but they like to keep them locked down so u have to say a pro to come in and set it up for u. Anyone else wondering about this? I was thinking about buying the drx-5.4 when it comes out since I need min 7.2.4 but would have liked more options. After yamaha a6a & a8a pricing was released crazy high for what u get. This really is a bad year for avr upgrades. Dennon 6700h could have been amazing but 1 hdmi 2.1 that doesn't work.

This is false, I have an Integra and it works completely normally. What's locked down is the dealer network which is mostly focused on custom installers.
@ssmokeyy to follow up on what qirex said, Integra is just a fancy Onkyo. Think Lexus and Toyota. A professional is not necessary unless you are integrating it into a system like crestron or control 4. And then I bet there is a forum here that can help walk you through it.

rz50 will be the better deal than the drx-5.4, just the like rz840 was a better deal than the drx-5.3. No need to pay $700+ for those few extra features. I have all Integra gear so I am a big fan, just don't think it's worth it. my $.02
I have always wanted an integra. I watched a review the other day that talked about needing to get into the sub menu that only installers can get into for setting like 2 ch audio settings. I just had a custom 5 channel amp built for my room by a good buddy that used to build for Phoenix gold back in the day. I like the integea 5.4 and will pay 1900 if its all unlocked and I can use all of it. But if there going to lock it I will probably wait until more gear comes out. I hope the rz50 isn't the only rz model there going to release. I don't get why these brands think its ok to charge 3k+ for 11 chan processing. 3k there is so many better brands to look into. Nad,anthem, emotiva. Just come to mind that u can get $2500 plus range.
Are they going to repair the broken AVRs out there for the customers that they left hanging over the last year now?

This is a company with a lot of financial problems. Buyer Beware. :) 👍

Really? Tell us more about Voxx and 11 Trading Company's financial condition. Maybe you should read a bit and know before you say things that might not be true. VOXX International Acquires Onkyo for $30.8 million - ecoustics.com
