Does anyone know if the component video switrchable inputs are rated for HDTV bandwidth?

With that being true, this unit does look like a dream (albiet expensive dream) machine.

I can't remember. I went to a press conference on it two weeks ago and I think they said they were rated at 30 MHz. I need to check my literature. With that being said, you really need more for head room. I think it should be 5 times that like 150 MHz. But then again, I am anal about my video. 30 MHz is good enough for DVD though. ;-)

The video bandwidth of the component switcher on the TX-DS989 is listed as 40Mhz. That should be enough to handle a 1080i HDTV signal,(33Mhz) but NOT enough for a 720p HDTV signal.(need 45Mhz min.) I wish they had rated the 989's switcher up to 50Mhz.
