I have the following setup:
Samsung UN65C8000
DirecTV HR22-100
Onkyo TX-NR708
DirecTV is connected via HDMI (1.4) through the receiver.
When I go to a 3D channel on the DirecTV receiver, I get split video on the screen and have to manually put the TV in 3d mode (side by side). I have verified that the TV has the "auto 3d" enabled in the settings.
What is really annoying here is that all of this worked perfectly fine until I upgraded to the latest firmware on the Onkyo receiver.
I have been working with Onkyo support. They have confirmed there is an issue that they are working on with DirecTV. However, they can not explain how this once worked and has now stopped.
Has anyone had any similar issues?
