Hi I have my Onkyo connected to by Sony Bravia. The Dish network reciever is also connected to the Onkyo SR607 reciever. The picture and video quality are fine, but the problem is that each time I change channels its takes nearly a 1 minute for it to switch. The Dish network receiver has a 6 ft HDMI cable connecting it to the reciever. The reciever is connected to the TV via a 35 foot cable from monoprice. Link here
What could be the cause of this delay. Is this a defect in the reciever, a setting I need to change or is it the wire is too long? I would think if its the wire then I would also have degraded picture and sound quality, but that does not seem to be the case. Any help would be appreciated. Anyone else have a similar problem?
