Yesterday while watching tv,it just shut off.Turned it back on,it did it again about an hour later.Today the speakers shut off,unit stayed on but no sound.Anyone had this problem.Thank you.

It could be that is running hot. Do you have it in an enclosure where it cannot keep itself cool???

Make sure U don't have a small wire strand shorted across either the speaker terminals rera panel of AVR or speaker...

If the first 2 suggestions don't get you there, you might take a look at the "Troubleshooting" section of the manual. There is often something in that section that will solve the problem, but isn't otherwise intuitive.
