I would go with four with that long of a room. It's not for "max volume", it's for consistency throughout the space. Four speakers played at a lower volume level will give better, more even coverage than two speakers in the same space.

Four being more even does make more sense to me. I'd hate to go from loud to soft by walking under the two.


The wiring for the TV is actually already back there. I ran 3 cat6 drops and a plug. Two cat6 for HDMI to the equip room and one data to the TV. I just haven't plugged it all in yet.
