why would you want the componet set of the jl audio's if you going to have a 4 channel amp? just doesen't make sense to me unless you have an suv and are just replacing the front speakers with the jl and then using the 4 channel amp to run the back 4 speakers an maybe a sub

Rock; he does have an SUV and he's getting 2 sets of the speakers "front and rear". That's why he's getting a 4 channel amp.


Rustic; you are still going to need a chime module for your vehicle. I'd also recommend auditioning the speakers first if possible to be sure you like them.

the vr series have a silk tweeter and thus one of the only jl component speakers i like. id say look at components in front and maybe a coax or just mids in the rear. components in the rear usually tears your sound stage to pieces.

I recently installed Boston Acoustics SX60 to the front of my '98 Accord powered by JL Audio A Series A4300 .


I can tell you, I've cannot remember hearing a system sounding better than this setup.


Just my $0.02 cents....
