I'm currently finishing my basement. I have 2 sections of the basement where I will be needing a reciever. The main are will be the media room in which I plan to get a pretty deceint AV receiver. The second area is the bar area. I need something to just power a simple 5.1 setup and also connect the TV above the bar. I don't want to spend a fortune on this one so I'm looking for something that will do the job well but also be as in expensive as possible. I was looking at Fry's and came across this and wanted to get oppinions on wheather this would be worth grabbing. I was looking at others in the 250 dollar range but on paper there really didn't seem to be much difference. Again this isn't for my main media room. Just going run 2 bookshelf and 2 stalite speakers and connect the over the bar TV.

Here's a link http://www.frys.com/product/6554273?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

Thanks in advance!

The Yamaha 371 is actually unavailable if you look closely.

If you're looking to buy today the Yamaha RX-V375 is on sale for $199. I would take that over the Onkyo 313.

The 375 is $50 less than the 371 (2 years older). Get the 375. Real good deal. Same price here.

I found the yamaha rxv475 at frys for 200 bucks so I snagged it! Its a refurb but it looks brand new. Even remote was still sealed in its packaging. This should work fine for what im going to use it for.
