For a long time I used my RCA audio out (Red and white) from my TV to my stereo in order to produce better sound. I just bought a new TV that has no outputs... However, I use a ps3 for everything (I don't subscribe to regular tv). It has optical going to my skull candy gaming headset module which, I just realised, has an optical out on it as well.
So my question, is there a cheap converter out there that I can run an optical cable to, which would then convert the signal allowing me to run the 2 RCA cables to my stereo?
I may purchase a soundbar one day instead, but for now I want to utilize my stereo since it works fine and all I basically use it for is sound from the TV.
