I understand that LCD TVs do not have as large a viewing angle as plasmas. What is the optimal height for a 42" - 50" table top LCD viewed from 8 to 10 feet away. Should it just be where your eyes hit the centre of the screen when you sit down?

I did notice in the stores that when you sit down the picture is different from when you stand up.

Thanks

Yes, optimum would be your eyes hitting the center of the screen or close to it where you sit on a direct vertical pathway. This of course is dependent on your height and the height of your sitting area. Easily measured tho.
