Hey Guys,

I'm in the process of finishing my downstairs and want to go with a projector mainly for movie watching and HD TV shows. Not overly concerned with 3D but it would be a nice option. Not sure I will buy any 3D movies though. Do these PJ's have 2D conversion to 3D?

My room will go back about 20 feet and I will be ceiling mounting the PJ. I can also make the room just about completely dark and most viewing will be done during the nightime. Will have a TV to watch during the daytime.

Which PJ would be better for my setup? I sued to have an Optoma 27 I think it was (480p) and I didnt notice any RBE's.

The upgrade to 1080p will be very nice no matter which you decide to get. Actually the 1070 is listed atm for $975 free shipping at Amazon if you care to go that route, and I think it's about the best bang for the buck, in that price range. Just make sure the throw range works in your setup. BTW, I wasn't concerned with 3d when I upgraded either, last 6 movies I bought, 5 were 3d. You might change your mind.
I don't think either of those will do 2D conversion.
