Has anyone heard if Optoma will do a xhd3 ? I really like the idea that the Optoma sets only have a 1% overscan and would like to see one with 1080p at about 60".

Based on what they did with the HD2 chip with a 65" screen that will be a floor model and won't be out for some time. Optoma seems to take their time -- lots of it.

have read a news that TI chooses Sammy as the only 1 xHD3 RPTV partner! if this is true, then optoma or any other makers won't be able to make xHD3 TV.......

LG has announced a xHD3 DLP RPTV also... to be available sometime in 2005...
