I've seen several references to being able to order the HD Tivo (HD-DVR250) from the Good Guys on the west coast for $100 off, but can't find any of the details for who to contact to place that order. Anyone have the details... I did do a search of the forums and couldn't find it.

Go into your local Good Guys and tell a salesperson you want to order an item. Model is hddvr250. They may not know about this item if they are not into Tivo themselves, as most GG stores do not train on new items until closer to ship dates. Tentative arrival at the wherehouse is supposedly 3-15-04, plus 5-7 days to reach the stores. I ordered mine yesterday at the San Francisco store at the Stonestown Mall. They already knew about the HD Tivo. $999 right now, but they have a 60 price match guarantee for local competitors.
