BINGO! It drives me nuts that all the ultra portables take out the drive. My FIRST thought was "I'm going to buy this if it has a DVD drive". It's 1.4 pounds, I'd gladly take another pound for a DVD drive. Sigh.

But you would still have black bars on your setup now with anything wider than 2.40:1
