I thought I would post this here as Ive tried the correct channels to no avail but many here know their onions http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif . My Dell monitor which has BNC and D-SUB connections recently has started to go wrong.

Basically after about 2-5 minutes the picture goes from a nice picture to one which has the blue component missing, therefore white becomes yellow etc. The weird thing is if you switch off the monitor for a minute then back on again all the colours are fine then suddenly after say 30-200 seconds the blue gun goes off and white becomes yellow.

Anyone have any ideas?, or perhaps recommend a local monitor repair place (Im near Birmingham,UK). I`ve had the casing off but there is a massive metal casing which I do not want to start dismantling let alone touch as I realise the many thousands of volts within!.

Cheers
