OK I know this is not a digital camera forum but you guys are "Toy" experts and I seek your guidance. I recently purchased a Sony TRV27 DV Cam with your guidace and am very happy with the performance of this camera for video (except for the white balance problems). I am seeking a 5 mega pixel camera to replace my Cannon AE-1 (Purchased in college and was very happy with it for many years.) I have narrowed it down to either a Sony 717 or a Olympus 5050 Zoom. Does anyone have any experience with these models? How about opinions?
