Hey guys. I know that a lot of you out there have the Linksys WRT54G, and that some of those are running the Sveasoft firmware.

I was just wondering if any of you had successfully bridged a WRT54G running Sveasoft with a Buffalo WBR(2)-G54(x).

Define success?

If you are talking about streaming between Replay units, then the answer is yes.

Trying to use DVA fully over it, well, that's a different story. See my recent thread about this problem here.

Fair enough. :)

Based on your experience, it seems like what I want/need will be ok. I currently have two Buffalos bridged in WDS. Rather than purchase a 3rd Buffalo, I've inherited a Linksys. My goal is pretty simple: I just want all wired and wireless clients [from any of the 3 routers] to be on the same subnet. Ideally, I want to stick with the Buffalo's factory firmware. It sounds like this'll all work.

UPnP is a ***** goddess. Or something.

thanks Ace.
