OT - Looking For a Memory Stick Format Utility?

Off Topic, but I'm not sure where else to turn for an answer....


I have a bad sector on my Sandisk SDMS-128 Memory Stick. The problem is that there is always one picture that is not accessable. I can see the thumbnail on the computer, and I can see it if it is still in the camera, but I can't move it off the memory stick. It's frustrating to have a great picture that can't be downloaded.


I am hoping there is a memory stick format utility for the Sandisk Memory Stick. I found one on the web for the "Sony" Memory Stick, but I understand that the Sony format is exclusive, and that other companies utilize a different format for their sticks. The description in the Sony utility said that it would only work on "Sony" sticks, not those made by other manufacturers.
