Anybody know of a good place for new/used oscilloscopes? I guess besides ebay.

I'm looking for something useful for calibrating video and audio devices.

Would 100Mhz analog scope be enough, or would I need more bandwidth?

Any help and suggestions is appreciated.

Thanks

I use a Tektronix 475 (same as I used at Motorola for years) that I am very happy with. You can find them pretty cheap at around $200 or so... They come up on ebay and also at gov auctions.

Thanks guys.

Hey Dave, from what I can tell, the 475 is a 200MHz scope. Do you think that's required for probing on scaled up video signals?

What kind of edge rates (is that the right term) are typical for rgbhv signals?

Some projectors have more than 100mhz video bandwidth so it can be advantagious to have a scope that can handle that. Of course it might be hard to find a video source that can provide that... :)

The 475 is a well made scope and was the workhorse of many large companies for many years and for about $200 they provide a lot of bang for the buck....
