All I can is dayumm...I watched a BW speaker go for a shy bit less than MSRP retail on Ebay. This was a used speaker.


Just throwing this out door, but what speaker/speakers retain their value.


I just started getting into *high-higher end* audio.


Just recently purchased 2 Revel centers (C52) for the price of $100 less than MSRP for both. I thought that was a steal considering it was just shipped to the dealer in December '09 and it was minty mint for what it was.

Back around 1982 I purchased a new pair of Magnepan SMGs at retail and sold them 4 years later for about $25 less than I paid for them.


I purchased my current speakers, ADS L1290s, back in 1986 for about $1200. Recently I saw a pair sell for about $650. Pretty good considering they are now 24 years old.
