TiVo? What's a TiVo? Analysts are always full of themselves. Thanks to exponentially-increasing DRM and the analog cutoff, it's unlikely that consumers will be able to skip commercials. Cable companies have only allowed fast-forwarding, not skipping, for years. Ever tried to watch anything online? You can't skip or fast-forward the boring and useless commercials. TV commercials have to be the least efficient advertising method ever developed--even junk mail is targeted.

You mean they make outrageous claims so that someone will pay attention to them? I'm shocked!


Actually, I think I learned that lesson in 2nd grade, if not earlier.
