I use a CH 4221 with rotator, and although I'm only 12 miles from the towers I have to use an amp to get good signals because of LOTS of tall pine trees. For the most part I get good signals on the 3 major networks, but Fox is a problem here.
Last night I was adjusting the antenna position to try to lock on to FOX and succeeded- but I was 50 degrees away from my usual "sweet spot". I checked the other channels and they were also strong at the new antenna position. I went out for the evening and when I got back I had perfect recordings on Fox (House) and ABC (NYPD Blue). So I thought, well maybe this is my new sweet spot.
Checked again this morning, and while Fox was still OK in the new position, my other channels were dropping in and out- so back to the original antenna position. I guess I'll just have to reposition when I want to record the Fox channel.
Anyone else experience their "sweet spot" moving? In my case, I'm attributing it to the pine trees and multipath.
