Trying to help my neighbor set up his Mits SR-HD5 STB. Brought along my trusty DTC100 for signal reference. Gave him an old Hovermann UHF antenna, and once hooked up to my DTC100, got signal strengths in the high 80's and 90's for all local ATSC (ex. CBS-60 came in at 94). Then, when I swapped over to the SR-HD5, signal strength went down to zero! Tried everything--tuning in manually (Ch. 2-1, 60, 60-1) rescanned, no success. One thing I did notice was that channel 60 was labeled as ANALOG. Wondering if the STB is treating it as NTSC instead of ATSC, which would explain why I was getting the "Channel Unavailable" message. Is there some sort of toggle that allows me to designate a channel as digital?
Thanks!
