Hey guys looking to do outdoor theater
I want something not to heavy and something that will sound loud and clean outside. Being 10-20 feet away. So I been looking and thought of these
JBL AWC129 would these work well?
Would these be loud enough?

I just bought and installed a couple of Klipsch AW-650's on our patio and I am blown away. Best outdoor speakers I've ever heard.
Those JBLs are nice and great specs, but expensive. you could do very well with far less expensive speakers - check out parts-express.com or outdoorspeakerdepot.com

but I guess the determining point is just how loud do you want to go. if PA system loud is the objective, then the JBLs are a good choice.

good luck
Rock on
What exactly will be powering these speakers?
I was a live sound engineer for 30 years and was the front of house sound mixer for lots of outdoor shows. Those speaker may be loud enough at 10-12 feet, but might not be very high fidelity. They also don't have good LF extension (-10 dB at 55 Hz), so you would need subs. Producing bass outdoors is hard. To get good sound with adequate bass for movies, you need more than just the AWC29. It would help to see pictures or drawings of the space. Are there walls or is it just a big open space?

Mike I will be using whatever I might need but at a reasonable price.
I want thinking about crown XLS series or something else in the crown line up. Also
Some active stuff like jbl srx12
Or etx 10p
This is something I will be doing for ppl who want to have party’s in back yards or bars or ppl who might want to watch sporting events fights outdoors. I’m not looking to get a full theater type of sound but I do want it to be loud and dynamic.

This will be outdoors in different ppl yards or spaces. I don’t have a one area or space. It will always be changing. But my guess will be 10-20 ft away from screen 10-50ppl

It sounds more theoretical or for multiple scenarios so you may not get the same performance with the same gear in different environments. Ideally people here would post the best gear for each specific venue if specifics are given.

So you're going to move a screen, projector, and sound system around to different peoples homes? It's a lot of work to set it up and tear it down. Audio and video quality will be marginal at best depending on your budget. Do you know how to do the technical setup? Sounds like good fun in theory, but difficult to accomplish in reality. I dealt with stuff like this for 30 years, it's an undertaking best suited for A/V professionals. Very time consuming at best.

Granted but In a sense this is kinda specific I need something that ppl can hear at decent volume outdoors with a decent coverage pattern so they can watch movies or sports or fighting events. Don’t want ppl watching 150in screen with a boom box playing sound. Just something wit big sound to match the big picture.

DJs do it all the time it’s not that far fetched. Plus it’s for the kids. Lol. In the end it will be fun and lesson learned if it don’t work out.
A pair of these: Behringer Eurolive B115W 1000W 15 inch Powered Speaker
with a pair of their 18" powered subs: Behringer B1800XP 3000W 18 inch Powered Subwoofer would give you pretty good clarity and coverage for the parties you are envisioning. You would need a mixer only, because the speakers have internal amplification.
They would also be mostly bullet-proof. But take Rex's warnings to heart, learn and comprehend your city's noise pollution restrictions, etc.
