I would like to purchase a projector that I can use oudoors in my pool area to sponsor "Dive in Movies". It is mostly for the kids and friends. I would prefer portable that has a decent picture and is up to the demands of portability. If the same unit could also be used in a media room and stand up to the same stresses of moving around and have an excellent picture then I would be willing to spend more.

I have an Infocus X1 and have used it outside and it's great. It's lightweight and easy to move. Excellent picture and very easy to use/learn so even the kids could work it. We have an 80' white homemade screen, a cheap receiver & speakers and sit out in the hottub watching movies. It's fantastic.

I like to entertain the squirrels in my yard so I bring my Z1 outside every night its warm enough. Their favorite channel is WNUT.
