[Aragorn II]

I'm looking for recommendations for good quality outdoor speakers. They will be on the wall of a patio powered by Zone 2 of a Denon 4308, and facing about a quarter acre of lawn and pool.


Does anyone have any they'd highly recommend? I've seen Polk Atrium's recommended on this board, which look pretty good. I'll have to buy them on faith without listening to them first, so would appreciate hearing from anyone who has a pair they like. There won't be a subwoofer, so they will have to be able to put out bass, and be able to fill up a pretty large outdoor area.

I just went through a similar search, and ended up buying NEAR A8s based on this thread: Outdoor Speakers . It's in the $20,000 and up forum, which is why most people don't see it, but has some good info in there. Good luck!

I ended up going with the Klipsch AW-650s. Had them installed today. I'm very happy with the choice, they sound great.

Second on the Klipsch AW-650's...though I am admittedly biased.

Sold/installed a lot of them, have them at my house...great sounding speakers!
