Outdoor Speakers - Receiver suggestions?

Looking at running 2 or 4 speakers on the back wall of my brick home. Have been eyeing the Polk Atrium 4 on Amazon.

What is the best way to run these speakers? Would love to be able to use Spotify (or alexa/Google home, etc).

Or is there another setup altogether I should be looking into that has good quality and volume for outdoor use?

I guess the big concern is running power/signal to everything.

I chose a small amp for my outdoor deck speakers and connected my google chromecast audio to it. I use spotify 90% of the time. Works great. Occasionally it will take time to display the groups I have set up but it hasn't come to the point where it is annoying.

you don't mention total budget...

speakers:
I would recommend a speaker with at least a 5.25" woofer.

check out parts express or outdoorspeakerdepot.com.

as for driving them...what is really going to make your life easier/better is a music-over-wifi set up. each ecosystem will have a pre-amp or pre-amp/amp combo. and HEOS and play-fi and chromecast are built into some receivers.

As previously mentioned Google chromecast audio is a cost effective solution. dayton audio hi-fly system is also cost effective. Play-fi pre-amp units can also be had on amazon for ~30 ( phorus PR-5, Klipsch gate)

more expensive is Denon's HEOS or SONOS. a HEOS enabled refurb receiver can be had for ~220 delivered.

another option is the Klipsch powergate (199 on amazon)

hope it helps

wired is best, insofar as amp to speakers go. what other space and power considerations are there? do you have power? are you able to place the amp indoors and run speaker wire outside to the speakers?
I've had a couple Sonos Play:1's mounted under the soffit for quite a few years now. They've worked out really well for a simple outdoor music setup, no amp/receiver required. The only challenge was getting power to them (but it wasn't that big of a deal).

I have a Pyle 2X120 Watt Home Audio Power Amplifier. I connect the chromecast audio to the aux port on the amp.
I have the deck speakers wired to the amp which resides in a closet. I have a pair of infinity outdoor speakers. I was looking at the polk speakers but a friend gave me the infinity speakers so I couldn't pass it up.

Upside - it works well for me. It is plenty loud when I want it to be. Chromecast has been great. You can control the volume from the phone.

Downsides - Volume variances with Spotify can be challenging as the amp has a volume adjustment and you have volume adjustment on the phone. I only have to make adjustments to the amp in the closet if I want it really loud. Otherwise I set it and forget it. The other problem with the Chromecast is that it takes some time to display all the chromecast groups on Spotify (if you have multiple chromecasts).
