Not from cable companies. The latest OTA HD STBs from LG support unencrypted cable QAM format as well as 8VSB OTA format, but usually the only unencrypted cable HD channels are the free local OTA ones anyway.

In Q3 2004, the Motorola HDT300 will be available, which will offer DTV reception, and cable reception with 'plug and play' CableCARD conditional access, for premium and standard digital cable SD & HD channels.
The Motorola HDT500R will also be available this year, and adds a 160 GB hard drive (to the HDT300) for HD PVR capability.
