I have a P4B266 with a 1.6a Northwood OC to 2.1g. The memory is PC133 ddr. What is the fastest cpu that this MB can handle? Say, if I put in a 2.0g Northwood, at what speed can I realistically OC it to? And will I need to get faster memory for it? This pc is used for video capturing and editing, so the fastest it spins the better it is in running TMPGEnc.

When trying to overclock, you are going to be more limited by your CPU than the motherboard.

The 1.6A overclocks so well because it is part of a batch of processors made to scale way past 2Ghz. They only have one manufacturing line turning out Northwoods and they simply throw them into speed bins. If their yield is good and they make more than enough processors that run at 2.2 or 2.4Ghz or whatever, they have to throw perfectly good processors into the lower bins.

But as you approach the higher-end, you get less of the "free Mhz because its underrated" sort of thing going on.
