Dolby Labs has been experimenting with the Overhead Speaker. Personally, I think it makes more sense then the rear center speaker, or even the side channel speakers. It would be especially nice with such movies as AirForce 1, and other movies that have jets and other spacecraft in it such as Armegeddon. Has anyone heard if this overhead speaker has gone beyond Dolby Labs experimentation? We've already determined that we can hear sound in front of us, behind us, on our left side, our right side, etc, so why not above us?
