For ATI 4.1 it used to be controlled using regedit and found in

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\\ATI Technologies\\Multimedia\\Features\\DVD

I set mine to

Brightness=6250 (note: ATI default is 5000)

Contrast=8000 (note: ATI default is 10000)

Gamma=1 (note: ATI default is 1)

Hue=0 (note: ATI default is 0)

Saturation=10400 (note: ATI default is 10000)

I tried changing it via Zoom Player, but I don't see any difference...

then I went looking for it in the registry, and I cannot find any keys under Multimedia, only a Launchpad folder.

Shall I create the keys in the DVD folder? Or are they somewhere else for the ATI MMC 7.5 and for the 6071 drivers?

Right, I had a look at the registry... and I can only find

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\\ATI Technologies\\Multimedia\\Features

there is no DVD folder in there...

I also had a look at

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\ATI Technologies\\Multimedia\\Features

and I found a DVD Key...

no trace though of

Brightness

Contrast

Gamma

Hue

Saturation

I wonder if I should create those entries... does anyone know where they should be, in the WinXP registry?

My problem is that I cannot control the overlay via Zoom Player, while I can if I use the properties/advanced tabs of the desktop...
